W209 steering wheel adjustment not working

Dear

Maybe im stupid but the little lever under the steering wheel should adjust the height and position? When I move it nothing happens. In the manual for switches it does not say which switch it is.. There is nothing about steering wheel switch.

Or does it only work in some setting you need to go to to adjust? It's 2009 clk. Thanks!

If you have the power steering column adjuster, it is a lever that sticks out on the left side of the column, below the turn signal stalk. You move the lever in the direction you want to adjust the column. If you have the manual adjustment, there is a handle that pulls out on the bottom of the column that unlocks it, the you manually move the steering column to the desired position.

Thanks. I have the electric one. When I read the fuse diagram it is 21 and 27. But under 27 it shows no Ampers for the fuse does it mean that it does not need to have any on that slot? That is also empty. I'm hoping maybe I'm missing a fuse there?

Assuming you have the electric steering column adjustment (all USA W209's do, international models may not), then the motors are powered by the driver's seat control module, which is powered by fuses 27 and 29. Fuse 27 was used through MY2004, fuse 29 is for MY2005+. If your power seat works, then the fuse is not the issue. There is a 6-position connector on the seat controller for it on. Wire colors are Gray/Green, Gray/Black, Yellow/Black, Gray/Yellow, Blue, and Yellow/Blue.

And again, please update your forum user's profile to add your location (country) and car's model year.
