Convertible top problem
I have a 2007 w209 clk 350 that I bought used a few months ago. Immediately I noticed the top begin to slow down. I found the hydraulic reservoir low and after some research discovered the left tonneau cylinder was leaking. Further research convinced me to have all the cylinders rebuilt so I removed them and sent the to Too Hydraulics. I replaced them without much trouble. Now the bow lift cylinders are not cycling. Everything else does. I can start the cycle and then shut the car off and let the hydraulic pressure bleed of and manually move the rear window up and then restart the car and finish the opening of the top. It is the same when closing. I checked the line numbers and confirmed they are not reversed. Does anybody have any thought? I don’t have any idea what I could have touched except my son pulled up the back seat roll bar and I had to reset it down.

04 CLK 500 Cabriolet
Leldon, I don't know if you have solved this problem yet. I had a similar problem when I replaced the cylinders in my 04 CLK 500. My problem was that I damaged the switch on the driver's side that triggered the window dropping into place. The switch is triggered by the boot cover going up or dropping into place.
