clk 240 missfiring

I have a w 209 clk240 and it is misfiring. I replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils however it is still misfiring and loosing power. The trouble codes that show up are p2050(misfiring, damages twc) and the other code is p2051(misfiring of cylinder 1, damages twc). I don't know how to fix this.

You can check the wiring to cylinder 1. The proper way to check it is to use an ohm meter after identifying the appropriate pins at the ECU plug. You can try twisting the cable to the coil before plugging it in, or if it is misfiring constantly, you could use something none conductive (plastic scrapper or well insulated screwdriver) to move/flex the cable to cylinder 1 and listen for a change in the engine.

To add to what has been mentioned.

Swap the ignition gear from CYL 1 to another and see is the problem goes there.

Also don't want to scare you... could be low compression in CYL 1.

If you do fix it, please let us know.

All the best.
