CLK W209 Torque Strut Values

Hello MBWorld, I searched and found a thread with the torque values for a W203 install of front struts but not one for the W209. Anyone know the proper torque values for them? Have a link?

Thanks in advance, Ken

I wasn't sure if you meant the shock, or the "control arms" as all of these are also referred to as "struts". Anyhow, her are WIS docs that list both W203 and W209 torque specs (which are different):

Sorry for any confusion. A lot of people seem to see a 'strut' and 'shock' as same thing, but I was raised that a shock is essentially the tube, with no spring mount on it... but the strut is one where the spring mounts to the assembly. In the picture in the first link, essentially #11.

Thanks for the links... while I saw the 209 on the top of the page, am wondering if that still holds true... will use it as I doubt it is much different if it is... thanks again!

Yeah, I tend to use the terms "shock" and "control arm" as they don't really have more than one meaning, even if manufacturers and parts suppliers no longer call them that.

If you scroll down, there separate sections for torque values, W203 vs W209.
