Oil Leak - AC Compressor?

Hi, I have an oil leak at the base of the front of the 272 engine that seems to be coming from the AC compressor. At first I thought the oil filter housing was the cause (as it is a common problem on 272/273, I believe), so I replaced the oil filter housing and gasket with new MB parts. But the leak persists. I've never heard of a compressor leaking, and the oil that is leaking seems to be engine oil. The climate control / AC system works perfectly. I have WIS - but can find no procedure for removing the AC compressor. Can anyone help please? Advice would be much appreciated.
