Unhappy 2005 CLK320 Stop Light Switch

2005 CLK 320 with the EBS/ABS errors, I have changes wheel speed sensors, bled brakes and still no resolve. On other forums and threads I have read about the Stop Light Switch being th problem. I ordered a new switch but after taking down the lower cover and removing the plastic cover over the brake pedal I cannot locate the switch. When under the dashboard I press the brake pedal and can hear a click like a switch opening, can someone please help me with locating the switch please?

Would like to get some help to avoid the dealership. The car goes into limp mode every so often and the cruise control doesn't work, not much else I can provide in the way of symptoms or information, I am frustrated beyond any imagination.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
Your car does not have a mechanical stoplight switch; it's integrated into the ESP module. To solve this problem, you need to pull codes using a scan tool that reads all the car's proprietary systems ( a generic OBDII scan tool won't work).

OBD2 Codes

Rudeney,

Thanks for your reply, I'll upload the codes tonight.
There appears to be an electric switch on the brake booster, what is that? I see the sensors on the Master cylinder which are the 2 ESP sensors, trying to figure out what the one on the booster is.

This is simply the diaphragm position sensor for the booster
