RennTech stainless steel and ceramic-coated exhaust headers offer true bolt-on installation, mounting directly to the OE down pipes and all RennTech headers are hand built from mandrel-bent, seamless tubing and CNC machined stainless flanges. RennTech is use advanced computer aided design (CAD) and flow analysis software allows RennTech headers to deliver substantial gains across the entire RPM range. RennTech headers are constructed of the highest quality T-304 stainless steel and are ceramic coated to further reduce latent heat in the engine compartment as well as combat against thermal stress. RennTech Five Speed Transmission increased engine performance it becomes necessary to further improve the drive line components, most importantly the transmission in order to ensure maximum power is transmitted to the drive wheels without transmission slippage. This can not be realized with software and only truly be accomplished by an internal mechanical upgrade to the transmission hardware. Renntech is the foremost authority on transmission upgrades and has done countless rebuild and upgrades for the most demanding dealers and clients for over 21 years. RennTech 722.6 Five Speed transmission upgrade consists of a mechanical upgrade to the transmission clutch packs. This allows us the ability to maximize the amount of friction materials contained within the transmission and in turn, the amount of power which can be transmitted through each forward gear. During final assembly the transmission also receives all new gaskets, seals, o-rings, electrical connectors as well as a new transmission pan filter. RennTech upgrade leads to improved shift response, shift timing, increased torque handling capabilities and greater drivability under extreme conditions without sacrificing around town comfort.

RennTech full carbon fiber Aerodynamic parts for the C209 CLK is the proverbial “cherry on top” and a stunning addition to the rear of the CLK exterior. Its unique design complements the refined trunk lines yet offers a more aggressive, stand-out look. RennTech Offering aggressive styling and functional performance; our fully adjustable DTM style rear wing is designed to work in conjunction with our carbon fiber rear deck lid spoiler and improves rear down force and stability at higher speeds. The rear wing mounting piece and uprights are a single piece, manufactured from T-6061 aircraft grade aluminum and our full carbon fiber wing element includes adjustable struts as well as machined aluminum end plates with the RennTech logo. The rear wing mounting plate with wing uprights attaches to the trunk lid via the included trunk reinforcement mounting plate. This allows the wing to bolt behind the license plate and can easily be removed or installed within 10 minutes.

Integrated into the flat panel underbody tray are functional channels which allow cooling air to be directed to the front brakes to significantly increase brake cooling and reduce heat fade and pad wear. RennTech front splitter was designed with your daily driver in mind and maintains the same approach angle as the OE front fascia so the RennTech front splitter retains the same clearance for parking stops, curbs and steep driveways. The high quality prepreg carbon fiber construction finished in a beautiful gloss top coat ensures years of durability and stunning good looks. This front splitter is a fully functional aerodynamic component as well as an aggressive exterior enhancement on the muscular CLK and available in matte or gloss finish. RennTech rear diffuser is the companion component to the front splitter and functions to decrease drag and increase down force by improving the underbody airflow and its transition to ambient air. As with the front splitter, rennTech diffuser is the result of countless hours of design and testing, but isn’t just for looks. Renntech Locking Limited Slip Differential

Simply explained, a differential is the last point between the engine and the wheels where power is transferred. The differential functions as a system to direct engine power at the wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds. By upgrading the differential, you benefit in both straight line stability and vehicle handling while cornering. During a full power straight line run, RennTech LSD (limited slip differential) will lock 100% and provide torque equally to each powered wheel, providing stable straight line runs. When exiting from a corner, RennTech LSD's transition to the full 100% lock position is smooth and predictable. This gives the vehicle better traction and stability throughout the corner, improving overall lap times and a noticeable improvement in overall vehicle handling. The track is not the only place where the differential comes into play though. Bad weather and harsh road conditions can make the street a dangerous place. In snow, ice, wet weather and regions where the road surface can become unstable, our LSD easily adapts and adjusts tire rotation to increase vehicle stability on the road and help to dramatically improve driver safety. RennTech differential is a unique, patented, clutch- type LSD which makes this a true100% locking differential. Because of this function, there is no movement of internal parts, leading to less heat being generated while in operation and in turn, less wear of the friction disks.

The RennTech lock-up clutch upgrade uses a multi-element clutch upgrade with additional layer of friction material between the clutch plate, better friction material on the clutch face and a larger surface area of friction material to help control slippage. This allows for better heat management and increased holding power. While slippage in the torque converter is important under acceleration, this slippage becomes a liability once cruising speed is achieved. The lock-up clutch controls this slippage and creates a solid connection between the engine and transmission. If the load on the clutch is too much, slippage can occur leading to excessive heat and wear.

The staple of advanced or professional driving is the "rev match", or "throttle blip", in which the driver quickly brings the engine up to speed with the wheels by use of the throttle. This was not possible with the automatic transmission in the CLK Black Series…until now. RennTech is proud to offer our Speedshift performance valve body upgrade for the CLK black series. RennTech upgrade modifies the shifting performance characteristics of the transmission control unit, the transmission valve body and allows the vehicle to automatically “blip” the accelerator upon down shifts allowing for quicker gear engagement and faster lap times. When downshifting, the engine throttle is increased to allow the engine to match the RPM of the lower gear and allows for significantly faster gear engagement . When coupled with our transmission upgrade, this is the ultimate upgrade for your CLK Black series.

RennTech proprietary 82mm Performance Throttle body package offers a 22% increase of incoming air volume. This translates into a noticeable gain in both overall performance and throttle response with a performance increase of 11hp & 8 lb/ft. RennTech throttle body assemblies were designed and engineered in house and a re a bolt on component requiring no modifications to the intake manifold. Our throttle assemblies feature a machined billet aluminum housing with custom designed air velocity stacks and all necessary hardware/ electrical connectors to make installation a snap.
