2006 clk350 intake manifold

Brand new here guys please help me out. My 06 clk 350 is throwing these codes. Intake manifold and a cam position sensor. What’s the best way to handle this? Buy the whole manifold and have a mechanic install it and the cam sensor at the same time. I’m not going to attempt it myself. I live in Houston Texas.

For the P0015, replace the camshaft adjuster solenoids (a.k.a. "cam magnets"). You can get all four for under $100. It's an easy DIY, except that you may need to remove the oil cooler for access to the left bank, so you need to drain a bit of coolant and replace the oil cooler gasket.

P2006 is a problem with the vacuum operated actuator on the intake manifold that controls the internal flaps. The official repair is to replace the manifold, but you can get aftermarket parts to fix this, though it usually requires removing the manifold to install the parts.

Do I need to do all 4 of the magnets or just the one? Anyone know a decent shop here in Houston?

Just replace all four or you'll end up gong back and doing them later. Like I said, all 4 together cost about $100.

To solve the runner I used this $65 part from Amazon and the job took about 6 hours on a weekend . . . Intake Manifold ALUMINUM Repair Kit for Mercedes-Benz Engine (V6 3.0L / 3.5L M272) (V8 4.7L / 5.5L M273) Runner Air Flap Lever Throttle. You can check the arms to the flap by pushing on them to verify that it is the common link break problem. There are lots of videos online about this. The dealer wanted $1800, indy wanted $1000, I did it for under $100 because I replaced the injector seals too while I had them apart.
