As usual, Nabzy was correct. My dealer called me and said that when the CLK500's are entered/ordered the sports package gets "kicked out" as he put it. In other words the sports package option cannot be added b/c it is standard. That is good news... He still wasn't sure about 18"s vs 17"s.
ps I just changed from Black and stone to Black w/ Black- I think that the array of plastic buttons may blend better w/ the black.
