Need to replace Rear axle shaft seal . Need help

Hello , My rear axle seal shaft is leaking and I wanted ti see If I need any special tool to fix this issue . Also if anyone has any pointer I appreciate it . Since I am going through all that trouble is there anything I should replace ?

Ok, you don't need any special tools to remove those seals, simple big flat screwdriver will do (or small pry bar). But to get to those seals you need to remove both axles. You don't necessary need to remove axles from knuckles, just unbolt all control arms from a knuckle and take it out as one piece, see an example in my thread https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...e-install.html
Those axles are held in the diff with snap rings, for me it was very easy to pry them out. BTW I think you suppose to replace those snap rings every time you remove axles.
