Curious. i have no sounding horn as well as no sound from when the alarm is armed from the key fob. What are all the troubleshooting steps i should step, not excluding checking the horn itself( not sure where it is).
I have a 2005 clk500 convertible

Check the relay and or the wiring!

where exactly is it located in the engine bay? (but i will check the relay)

The horn is not in the engine. They are below and ahead of the radiator
