CLK 500 Heater Dustbuster sound

Hello,
I am a new owner of 04 CLK 500. My heater makes a high pitched noise (almost like a dust buster). The noise stops when you turn the heater off, and it also momentarily stops when you accelerate hard. Any ideas on what this could be? I appreciate the help and recommendations in advance!!!!

Open the hood, look at the top left corner. There a black plastic cover with 3 metal clips over the battery. If you pull the 3 metal clips up that plastic thing should pull up/out. The cabin air filter is in there, and you if look in the opening it left the cabin blower fan should be visible. Anything stuck in there? Debris? Mouse?

I wonder if something fell in (died?) and got stuck against the side and acceleration pulls the blower fan just far enough away to to not rub anymore.
Super easy to drop it out the bottom of the glove box and check
