SRS light staying on and won't clear after scanning
Hi, after removing and replacing my battery the SRS light has come on. The battery went flat, and I removed it to recharge.
I have had the car scanned on a Snap-On vivo scanner and these are the codes that have come up.
The car is a Mercedes CLK. Late 2004 with production code 805.
9003 – The supply voltage of the control unit is too low (under voltage)
9002 – Fault in communication with component B48 (Front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition)
9002 – Control module N2/7 (restraint systems control module) (circuit 15R) : No voltage when voltage present at circuit 15
90A6 – Component B48 (Front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition) is either defective or wrong
9023 – The component or the signal line to the component B48 (Front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition) has short circuit to ground
902D - Front passenger seat occupied open circuit
B2DFF – Refer to OEM repair information for code description
9074 – Fault in CAN communication with control unit N73 (EIS control module)
906C – Fault in CAN communication with control unit N93 (Central gateway control module)
906D – Fault in CAN communication with control unit N93 (Central gateway control module)
906E – Fault in CAN communication with control unit N93 (Central gateway control module)
906F – Fault in CAN communication with control unit N93 (Central gateway control module)
9070 – Fault in CAN communication with control unit N93 (Central gateway control module)
9030 – The coding for the digital crash output to control module N112 (Telecommunications control module) is faulty
Before any errors came up, I did notice that the seatbelt warning never came on if I drove around with no seatbelt on. The seat belt light on the dash comes on when you switch the car on and goes out after a couple of seconds.
Where would be the best place to start as I’m guessing it is probably one thing that is causing most of these codes to come up.
Cheers,
Troy

Just clear all the codes, in das go to airbag, clear the error, and test it.
if it shows again, check the plug for airbag/srs under the seat, check if the wires are broken, mb sells the plugs for the rewiring, simple job, this is generally the problem

I went through a living hell with the SRS got to a point that I even replace the SRS module. Check the CANBUS under the front passenger side seat and I would replace the weight sensor inside the front passenger seat bottom (possible broken circuit).

Here is what I purchased, was shipped via FedEx from the seller in Poland and came in a few days to Chicago. They did take my VIN number as there are multiple versions based on the year.

The module has to be programed with the VIN number if there any crash data on that module not sure if you can clear it out. My understanding is you have to send it out to get it formatted. I guess others can chime in.

I do do not believe that's the case. Its a simple box simulating the sensor signal to the cars computer so it thinks adult is sitting there so it does not disable the SRS and same for the seatbelt so the alert is not beeping due to it not being buckled. You can build one with resistors

Your talking about the bypass module. I have seen something like that years ago but it was still new to the market at that time.
I was talking about the SRS module that behind the front ash tray.
