What All-Season Tires to Get
What's a good tire I should consider? Per my other post, a recent visit to the alignment shop revealed my rear tires are done. The front tires are at 7/32nds so I could keep them.
Current tires are Continental ContiProContact all season. Choices so far:
Replace the two ContiProContacts: Amazon has them for $385 installed
Michelin Pilot Sport4 from Costco. All 4 for $625 installed
Continental ContiExtremeContact from Amazon. All 4 for $645 installed
The Costco tire guy suggested against putting a diff brand just on the rear.

I just put a set of Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus on my car - Tire Rack - and installed locally. 4000 miles (3 months) later, I still like them.
FWIW. If you are looking for a less expensive tire, and after reading some positive reviews from other CLK owners, I previously put a set of Falkens on my CLK550 tire eater - just to get some reasonable tread warranty. I actually liked these tires very much and put them on another car I bought. This was a few years ago.
Good luck.
