Newbie to this forum 2009 CLK350 conv.
Hi and Thanks for the Add.
I am trying to update the radio/nav console on this car. My son-in-law, who happens to be a longtime MB mechanic, had me purchase a really nice aftermarket unit with some interfacing components for the vehicle. He was able to get everything wired up and working however could not mount the unit using the existing face plate. It appears there are different size radio chassis within this model. Not sure the convertible or the Harmon Kardon system make the difference buy rest assured it doesn't fit by a couple of mm's . The listing for all these units( including the one I purchased and returned) list the W209/ Clk350's however do not seem to have but one size. Anybody know if a retrofit Bluetooth unit compatible with my Iphone is available for my car?
