Aftermarket Stereo Switched Wiring in Dash

Good morning I am looking for those who may know or have installed aftermarket stereos into their W209’s. I have begun my project. I have replaced all the interior speakers and the subwoofer on the rear deck. I am gearing up to replace the head unit, but I will be by passing all fiber optics in the car and running it directly to the amp in the rear trunk with some six channel RCA’s.

My question is, does anyone know of a switched 12 V connector in the dash that I can tap into as I’ve read the original factory head unit does not have a switched 12 V line running to it.

I am really only going to need a switch to 12 V power and ground which I’m sure I can find behind the Dasher. Otherwise everything will be ran separately as I am bypassing all stock equipment.

cigarette/cigar lighter socket is the usual source.

I did find in the driver, side, fuse, panel a sound system fuse, and an instrument cluster fuse. I’m gonna tap off for illumination and constant power. I’ll give those a shot.

Anyone else find it odd that the wiring in the trunk is correct according to wiring diagrams but on the passenger side door, the wiring colors are the same for the speakers? For example, in the trunk there is a Orange/BrownOrange for the passenger front, however, when I pull off the passenger door the front speaker is Green/BrownGreen instead, just like the driver side? Hmmm...

For reference I ended up finding out that the brown/red stripe wire is switched for the radio so no need to run new tapped power wires.
