2007 CLK350 Cabriolet
Water intrusion, wire connections corroded.

Hello all, I have an 07 CLK 350 Cabriolet, there has been water intrusion which made it's way to the driver's side footwell, and some wire connections got corrosion. I'm hoping someone can help me identify these connections, and a recommended course of repair (ie cleanup with alcohol, replacement, etc). These connections run along underneath the trim along the door. Here are some pics.

In the first picture, I managed to clean the terminals alcohol and mini wire brush on dremel and I think the connections are fine. However in the 2nd picture I'm having difficulty with this connector. It's labeled A 002 546 79 40 and a Google search told me it's a "cable shoe". I stupidly pulled on one connector and it broke off, with heavy corrosion inside. How do I fix or replace this? Thank you in advance.

There really isn't a great answer here. If I understand correctly, the harness you are holding in picture 1 is the one you identified as having corosion and then upon cleaning, the brass connectors inside the plastic harness broke?

Not really as scary as you think, although you need to have access to a wrecking yard with a similar vintage Mercedes nearby. What you're going to do on the donor Mercedes is remove that terminal that broke on your car and then cut the wires about 6-10" away from the plastic connector. Then come back to your car and connect your loose wires to the loose wires on the new connector. Boom. Done.
