start enable fuse 52 blows
I have a 2004 clk320 and I believe I have a short to ground in my wiring.
Every time I turn the key fuse 52 blows.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the start enable circuit with wire colors so I can chase the issue from the back of the front SAM to the ignition switch?
I'm really hoping that it's not just a bad SAM.
Everything else in the car works, and once in the dead of winter, it actually turned over without blowing the fuse. so I'm fairly convinced it is a wire.
This is the start relay from the CLK 350 blowing fuse 53 when trying to start. I removed the relay, which you can tell has problem. Even with the relay removed it still blows fuse 53 when you try to start with the key. Would that indicate a problem inside the fuse module?
