Glove box
Sooo basically, got the weird thing where my glovebox will not close. My girlfriend was laying in my lap and used the glove box to help herself up and next thing you know my glove is on the floor! Woohooo anyways does anyone know exactly like how to fix it because, I tried looking online and i couldn't find an exact video on it or anything other than for other or years and don't know if it's exactly the same. Should i buy a new one or try and fix it? Btw i have a 2003 clk320

I have an 04’ and had your same issues. The latch is worn out so it will not close, the only solution is to get another glove box. That’s what I did and very happy with a glove box that closes properly again

Just kidding. As far as the glovebox goes, the glovebox issues are such a common 209 issue. It is a very tricky part to reinstall as it requires a lot of alignment and small inserts for it to work correctly.
There are many videos online that show how to reinstall it. I had this with my 04. I will see if I can come across one.
