CLS450 AMG
So my wife and I purchased two more Mercedes-Benz cars over the Christmas Holidays. She purchase the GLC300, she upgraded from the CLA Model. I had the 2016 CLS400 and it had approx 60K miles, it ran like a champed, I mean I could get up to 130mph and it felt like I was going 60 or 70mpg's. So I purchased a Lemon in the upgrade to the CLS450 2019, I literally picked the car on the 22nd of Dec 2023, so the car had some cosmetic issues on it that they fixed, did not retest drive it, my wife and I signed the papers on the 22nd, on the way home I noticed the car having a vigorous shake as I came to a stop light. I went back to MB in my wife's GLC, they said turn the ECO switch off and it should be ok. I immediately started to wonder why they ask me to do that and come back next week and do a ride along with the Head Mechanic. The car sat in the garage the entire Holiday week, New Year's is here now and was on my way back to do the test drive with them and the car Stalled out on me at about 20mph, then the car died in the middle of the street. would not start, called MB Wrecker, got the car back to MB, they checked it out and they said that I drove the car through a puddle of water and got water in the intake somehow which caused the engine to throw a Rod clean through the engine. The car only has 40k miles and I never even drove the car and it's disturbing that they are blaming me for the car and engine, what are my rights when it comes to this, I live in Texas.
