Purchase 2005, 2008 0r 2009 CLK?

Am considering the purchase of another CLK after not having one for a few years.

Question: is MB still supporting these cars - are Mercedes parts still available - window regulators , other likely parts - suspension cooling system etc.

Thanks for any advice.

The main difference between the 05 vs 08/09 is the power options (05 is 320 or 500 both with 5-speed auto versus 08/09 is 350 or 550 both with 7-speed auto). Those are quite big differences performance standpoint wise. Interior/tech wise there is no difference whatsoever. Some parts that are specific to these models are becoming hard to come by.

Correction, the 05 500 has a 7-speed.

MB’s
Go for the 2009. It’s the last year of production. A 350 or 550 Coupe will be good long term. Parts are available as they are basically a W203 mostly. Plenty of these cars made. I have owned 3 W209’s (320, 350 & 55AMG) and never had trouble finding parts. I use FCP Euro
