Howdy, apologies as I know there's tons of threads on this already but I can't pin down a single answer and I currently have a torn muscle in my back so I can't afford to go wrenching and searching for it myself. So, have a 2004 CLK500 and I bought a new fuel filter that supposedly goes to the car. I've seen w209 filter locations of: just infront of rear wheel (both sides), just behind pass front wheel, under either seat, and that it's built into the in tank pumps (which I just replaced, don't think the filter was built in). My questions are: 1. Where is the fuel filter on a 2004 clk500? 2. Does the arrow really point towards the back of the car? (saw a YT vid w/ a filter that looked like mine, he said arrow points towards rear. Which seems odd). Pic of filter and screenshot from referenced video attached (looks like it's left side just infront of LR wheel in this vid, and filter matches what I have). It's a Beck Arnley filter, cost $50 but seemed to be of good quality (mostly got it due to shipping speed). Thanks for your help!
