Convertible top clunk when opening and closing

My 2007 CLK350 makes a loud clunk when finishing the opening or closing of the top. I have seen previous postings about this but never see a picture of where the broken piece is (if there is one) or where to add lube. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

Is this the part which breaks and causes the noise? I can see that this one is broken.

I removed the broken part from the driver's side, the other one isn't broken and still get a clunk when the lid closes. I think this has been broken since I got the car and wonder if it should make the noise even if everything is working as it should.

I have the same noise on my 2007 CLK200 Kompressor. Does anyone have a part number for a replacement part please?
