Question CLK 200 2004 - Knocking noise for a minute after ignition

Hello!
My mother has a '04 CLK 200 that makes a knocking sound after we turn on the engine.
It lasts for everything from 30 seconds to a minute, there is no impact on performance or anything - I have only noticed that it makes a "poof"-sound when
the heater is on.

The heater works as normal and the issue can be reproduced by turning off, waiting like 30 seconds and then turning it back on.

We have spoken to a couple of mechanics who are unsure to what this sound is and where it's coming from, but the theory is that it's related to climate.

Please have a look at this video, I turn on the heater at 0:15
https://streamable.com/m6hhxd

Any ideas?
Thank you!

Broken Plastic Gears that change the way the air circulates, they break and cant change the airflow path so they just spin and rub against the broken bit.
