Central Locking Not Working
Hi everyone,
I'm currently trying to fix my central locking system. Here's everything that I have checked so far.
Firstly, I checked if the remote's battery is good, which it is as the red light is flashing every time I unlock/lock the car. Additionally, the IR emitter is also working in the remote as I am able to unlock the car with the key when keeping the IR emitter close to the IR receiver on the door handle. Essentially, the remote is good.
Next, I checked fuses 8 and 9. These fuses are not blown and are perfectly intact.
Using my scan tool, I scanned for codes for the rear sam module. I get one code that might relate to this problem: B1078 - Fault In Communication With Component H3/1(Alarm Signal Siren With Additional Battery) Or There Is A Cable Fault.
What should my next step be in diagnosing this issue?
