Seatbelt extender gear replacement

Seatbelt extender gear replacement

Hello All-

I have a 2007 CLK 550 coupe
My question is:
Has anyone replaced the drive gear in the seatbelt extender?
The plastic gear lost 2 teeth. I see some on ebay and a metal one as well
I have taken it apart and unplugged it so it doesnt make that grinding sound
This car is nice and has lots of power and I would like to keep it going
Any suggestions?

I ended up ordered a used extender for around $50 off eBay and will part that model out to fit mine. Mine also had a bad track as well, worn down from use I am sure. This would likely be a better option for you.
