Steering Mkaing Strange Noises
Hi Guys
I have recently notice slight groans from the steering when turning, it's not a constant problem just know and then it groans like its rubbing on something.
I have tried the fluid and it seems fine.
And my stock rims are on at the moment aswell.
Any Ideas

damm.... this is another problem for MB??
There are too much problem on my clk 500 right now
1. rear window are making noise
2. middle break light is cracked
3. AC make bad smell

I have the same issue....its not consistant but it does make that rubbing sound...I have snow tires on so that could be the cause....

x-tian-230k this is my prob to it comes and goes almost like a air lock or pump prob
Well its going in on the 23rd of feb to get looked at also i have supsension problems

Strange Noise from Steering
Hi Neil
I also had same problem & they fitted new trackrod both side ! but that didnt cure it they have now fitted a new steering box ! Problem solved now next
,Ive only got to keep changing the wiper blades becuase they miss the screen / passenger side only.
CLK 270 CDI 03/03 245Bhp Obsidian metallic black , full factory fit amg kit , 18" Amg factory fit alloys , Full Command/ Sat nav + [Tv Courtesy of Steve from N/L ]
Linguatronic , Auto climate control , Full memory seats /Steering , Automatic/Tiptronic , Full leather napa/two tone , Brabus Twin chrome tail pipe , Tinted Windows , Bi xenon , Rain Sensitive Wiper's , Keyless go , Tuning Chip , K & N Air Filter . Other toy Mv Agusta F4 Fully Tuned .
