How much off MSRP should I expect for a fully loaded Alabaster white w/ Charcoal? My local dealer was willing to discount it $2300 without asking.

I know there is a price gap between the CLK500 and the BMW 645i, but what do you guys think of these two cars? I do understand that this is the MB CLK forum, so I'll keep that in mind.

I saw an 05 CLK500 new on ebay for $6000 off MSRP. My guess is you can easily get 4 or 5k off window especially in January. I don't think you can compare a 645 vs a CLK, these are colpletely different cars. A 645 is comparable to a CL500, well sort of.....

 

Just bought an 05 CLK500 coupe with sun roof, heated seats and cd changer. Got 4% off MSRP without any trouble. Suggest you try to get 5% off.

 

If you have enough money, just get BMW 645ci. Almost everything is better on that car. I test drive it.... and love it so bad.. Unless you really need to use back seat. cause that car have most uncomfortable back seat bmw ever made!

 

Beverly Hills Mercedes has been running ads in the LA Times for $5,000 off any 2005 CLK500 - 9 in stock.

Price is also on their website.

$6,000 shouldn't be hard to get.

 

i've noticed alot of ppl mentioning discounts off of MSRP..
i've also negociated to a few hundred over Invoice when i purchase cars..

 

few hundred over invoice when you purchase cars? Are you talking MB or domestics?

 

Remember one thing, the dealer can give you a nice discount upfront but get most of it back on the finance rates/money factors if you're not very savy.
