Couldn't get a straight answer from Tirerack...

According to the Tirerack web site (see link below), there are 2 columns of prices for 17-inch AMG 5-spoke style 203 wheels:
1. F:229, R:379
2. F:229, R:219

I called Tirerack twice. The first time a guy told me that the more expensive one was chrome finished. I called the second time, another guy told me that it's a typo. How can a typo be there for a few months?

In another thread in the CLK forum, someone mentioned that these 203 wheels had dull finish as oppoed of the polished ones of the OEM CLK500. Is it possible that there are actually 2 different finishes sold by Tirerack?

It says the more expensive ones are the lightweight version. I also seem to recall there being a lightweight version.

I ordered from tirerack and got the wrong rim actually it was for the W208. Unfortunately at that time the w209 was sorta new so they didnt have the new w209 Clk500 rims. But maybe by now they might have gotten the new ones. I wouldnt get the chrome ones becuz they are completely different. The w209 rims are not chrome they are polished. Worst comes to worst just get the dealer to order for you but they are gonna cost u an arm and a leg. Good luck.

From what I read, Tirerack does have a good reputation. I 'm sure I will not have any issue buying from them but I have to know what to order.

#1 seems to be staggered, since the rears are more expensive.
#2 is probably non-staggered and a typo on the rears, since all 4 wheels should be identical.
