What's the whp on a stock w209 CLK 55?
Hi everyone, I'm new here and was wondering if anybody dynoed their stock car that had a w209 CLK 55. I know somewhat that it varies depending on loacation because of elavation, temp.,etc. But I just want to get a ballpark figure of what the whp and wtq is at on a stock car. And also can somebody recommend me a good company where I can get a chip besides Powerchip for my car? Any help is much appreciated.

With SAE standard, stock will usually pump around 296whp and 310wtq.
Go for either Kleemann($750) or Renntech($2000). you will experience 10whp and 10wtq from those two companies. They are honest about the gains tho so... Get ready to tune it up.

Seems low. My W208 was dynoed Saturday and even has the original/stock air filter in. The SAE corrected figures were 290rwhp and 313 TQ....mine's the "old" CLK55, rated at 342/376. The new CLK is rated at 362/376. Shouldn't you be seeing 305 stock?

my first SAE dyno was 296 and 310 actually. Uncorrected number was higher. Maybe you have a good motor, but my buddies know I am lucky to have a strong engine to get to 110mph in the 1/4 mile.
With pullies I was doing 306 and 320 SAE.
With headers and downpipe, I was doing 322 and 340.
With renntech airbox(ECU not fully adapted) was 330 and 340
Speedtuning USA? I don't know yet but it will take a full advantage of my setups. The cams are coming soon so Let's see. Remember that those numbers are without some high flow fans that most dyno facilities are using.
and my car was chocking from all the exhaust fumes that the 1970 Chevolle SS produced.

I have a Stock 2003 W209 CLK55 AMG Coupe and I dynoed Saturday w/ Chappy. I got 299 rwhp and 303 Torque. That was the best of my two tries. I'm sure I could have done a little bit better if I tried it a few more times but that's what I got.

Lol, it didn't come easy.. I made a WHOLE BUNCHA sacrifices growing up. But now i can definitely say they were worth it! I can't imagine what my little brother's gonna get for his first car. Not saying that he'll get one, but he was telling my parents all about Jo's SL65 and they listened... which means he's got something pretty nice coming his way!
