Strange noise from window

Strange noise from window
I get a strange noise coming from the drivers side window.....only when the window is down...never when the window is up all the way. It sounds like the glass is moving inside the door. I mainly hear the noise when I am going over bumps that make the car shake. Also when I shut the door with the window down it ounds like I am banging the glass. Something must be loose in there. It doesn't do this on the passenger's side.
Of course I will tell the dealership since it is under warranty....but just for *****s and giggles....has anyone heard this kind of noise?

yeah...stupid window regulator is broken....damn dealership doesn't have the part in stock and has to order it. What the hell? I have this crappy 1999 C280 for the whole weekend. They never have a window regulator break on them....not popular part? Geez. Oh well....sometimes its fun to beat on the loaner car for a while. I have to admit the C280 has some pep when pushed really really really hard!!!
