CLK Front Alignment Problems
Are any of you having problems with the outside of your front tires wearing faster than the rest of your tires. I took it to MB and they said that it is normal for it to wear that way. Would it help if I lowered the car to change the camber?

Although I have an 03 with a Brabus suspension.
I was going to bring it in for an alignment, but maybe thats not necessary???

Unfortunately all CLK's seem to have this problem and following the recommended tire pressures from MB only makes it worse; the fronts need more air than indicated to help with this issue. A camber adjustment would help but may also negatively effect the inside edges of the fronts even more, though it will help the outside edges. The SL's do not have this problem as their fronts wear perfectly. I recently went through all this with my dealership, they did advise to change the alignment from factory specs and add air to the fronts. You'll also notice the rears will wear much faster in the center than the edges(either outside or inside) so I keep less air in the rears which is contrary to the MB settings but it really helps.

I've got the sam problem on my c230. I've had the dealer do 3 alignments in th 18 onths I've had the car and it still doesn't hold. It will be fine for a few months and then will start pulling to the right. I don't know what the problem is.
