2005 CLK55 Cab -- what to pay??
I am going to be helping a friend find and buy a CLK55 Cab (2005) and I was wondering what people have been paying for these cars. I know the price can have a 8k window with options but lets talk price over dealer cost.
Anyone purchase one in the last few months? I know the market is a bit soft for these cars so what should I expect to be paying.
Any thoughts on a car that is a used "demo" for 78k? I figure for 2-3k more you could have a modestly spec'd new version.

The market is very soft, I would not pay a penny over invoice PERIOD!
There are a few available on eBay right now & they are not as rare as the dealer may claim. Initially, shoot for <invoice, they make enough in their holdback.
