6.3L engine will be in the next generation CLK!

I have not seen much discussion on this topic so here it goes:

Dear MBUSA,

I seriously hope you put the new 6209cc AMG engine in the 3rd generation CLK-class. You guys made a huge mistake by not supercharging the W209 , please don't make an even bigger mistake by not dumping that work of art into the next CLK-class.

Yes, I want the full 510 horses and yes, I want the full 464 lbs/ft of torque. Also, please don't put a restrictive airbox or exhaust to limit airflow like you did with the W211 E55!!!! Keep it the way it is.

Don't worry, if you dump the new 6.3 into the CLK it will not detract from sales of the larger classes - many people find the CLK too small. If you decide to give the next CLK the new 6.3 I will be one of the first to purchase one. Thanks.

why is it a HUGE mistake to not have supercharged the w209? for one thing, it would be faster than the E55, not appropriate for product placement. not to mention, the w203/w209 cannot handle the power reliably.

The W209's will handle the power just fine, all they need is some select components from the new W209 CLK DTM and without all the fancy body work, carbon fiber etc. FYI, as reported by the top car mags, the W209 CLK55 handles better than an E55W211 on the race track.

The CLK63 is already listed in the July STARDIAGNOSE list of cars.
