18 Inch Brushed Aluminum HRE 540R's for Sale.
Last September of 2004 I bought a set of Brushed Aluminum 18 inch HRE 540R's from Harris at Motorwerks with Toyo Tires for $7,000. I drove them for 6 or 7 months and had to send them back to HRE for refurbishing as a small amout of seal was pealing off each rim. They did a wonderful job and now look good as new! I am not sure why the seal was pealing.
Before I got them back I had decided to trade my wife's, and my CLK55's in for a 2005 CL55.
The rims, and tires are at a shop in South Miami (WHEELTEC) where I had shipped them to HRE from. (See below for Details)
They are on display now, and the owner actually had a guy who was going to buy them the same day Harris's assistant Gaston called and told the owner not to sell them, but to prepare them for me because I wanted them back. The owner assumed I called Gaston, or Harris to ask them to prepare them for me, which i did not. Well before I asked the owner at WHEELTEC to sell them for me I sent an email to Harris telling him I did not need the wheel's as I had already bought my CL55, and was going to sell the HRE 540's which were my old CLK55, and afterwards I wanted to buy the same wheel's for my CL55.
I am interested in selling the rim's alone for $4,250, I would like to sell the Toyo Tires as well for what ever they are worth. If your interested please contact me, or better yet the owner of:
