Ahmed I just saw pics of your CLK and I think I asked you this before but can I see a pic of your engine. A friend of mine says that he is from bharan too and says you are a fraud. Meaning your car is not a real 55 AMG.

 

It also helps that AMG engine designers gets their bearing clearances right the first time. Those M3s are running motor oils with viscosity close to gear lube to keep the motor alive at higher RPMs. It's amazing that changing viscosity specs was BMW's interim fix while they figure out how to deal with their six cylinder grenades. Nowadays, win or lose, I look for M3s to play with just to see the potential fireworks! I've been driving my CLK55 HARD from day one. I redline the motor at least once or twice everytime the car goes out... 8,200 miles later, not a missed beat, not a drop of oil burned. I love this car.

I know my Uncle who lives in the Oakland Hills has one: a 2001 Brilliant Silver CLK 55. Garage queen, he never ever drives it.

I have seen at a car wash S500 with a v12 badge behind me and Clk430 AMG in front of me---I don't even smile, because I don't think its funny.

 

Iam curious as to wether or not you have had your 430K on a rearwheel dyno, and what are your thoughts so far on the install, drive, reliability etc...sorry a little off topic here, I as well despise the fake badging of non-AMG cars.

 

Actually when you order a car straight from the factory and it has AMG rims or AMG products on it, it will say AMG on the right side but what pisses me off is people who have a CLK430 and take the time to change everything even the speedometer and door sills to AMG and then put AMG CLK55 on the outside when it is really a CLK430.... I mean why?

in my opnion if they add all the amg modifications they have a right to put an amg emblem but i dont think its fair to call it clk 55

 

I wouldn't do it, but there is NOTHING wrong with putting an AMG logo on your car if you have some AMG components. Also, it's okay just as long as you keep the original badges on. It's kinda like Dinan, when they work on a car the add a Dinan badge but the original badges stay on.

They can call there car a CLK 55 if they take the time and money to bore the engine out to 5.4L .

Stats from Kleemann literature:

3.2V6 Standard 214HP Kleemannized 331HP. MB web site states 349HP for E55. Not sure if that would shut him up or not.

Not sure what a sipercharge would get you, but a supercharger might help (just messing with ya) I Don't think It would be as fast but It should be close - any one out there have an example ?
