Akebono Euro Ceramic Pads installed, first impressions.
Well I couldnt take it any longer from the brake dust on the new wheels so I decided to try out a set of the new Akebono Euro Ceramic Brake pads.
I installed them last night and so far they have worked great. There is no noticable difference in pedal feel and braking seems to be as good as stock and no brake squeal.The big plus so far is NO BRAKE DUST, I think I'm in love. I took it out and after a day of driving with some high speed long stops the wheels so no sign of black dust. I ran my finger between the spokes and they were clean as can be. Now this has only been one day but as we all know just after a day of normal driving that light coating of black dust is starting to appear. I'll see how they look in a week and make a better judgement then. So far so good, worth every penny.
