Thumbs down

Well, almost got them. MPRESSION asked for shipping details after I agreed to pay him the price but tonight he PM'd me that he sold them to someone else. Not the best feeling when people change their minds that late into the process of a deal...but what are you gonna do?!

Damn, those things sold fast! Sorry but I guess those things don't come up that often for your car. I would still buy H&R even if you have to pay full retail $250-275. You should list your Euro springs for sale and see what you get. I'm sure there are several people that would want them, including CLK55, CLK 430 and CLK320 owners. Many people love stock AMG stuff.

Ya, I will list them once I have the others installed....can't just leave the car on the lift. They went pretty fast. No big deal.

buy the h&r springs you wont regret it and it will look and handle better with barely any difference in ride quality,i say this because i previously owned a 2001 clk 55 with h&r springs and 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 and it rode and handled great,it wasn't quite low enough for me though so i cut half of a coil out each spring, had it re-aligned and it sat perfect to me and ride quality was only a little stiffer .i wouldn't recomend cutting the spring though ,as you will have some issues with rubbing on the plastic insides of fenderwells over large dips in the road or with four passengers

I would like to see them also. I am in the market for a car, and one of my choices is a white W208 CLK55. I want to see what the H&R's with the #2 pads looks like with the 18"s. Also, how is the handeling improvement? ride quality?

Thanks!
