That warranty on the HPS sounds like a dream

Warranty:
4 years or 48,000 miles above and beyond Mercedes-Benz warranty to protect the customer for the entire powertrain of their vehicle (inside US only). No other supercharger manufacturer offers a warranty of this caliber. Note: 1 Year or 12,000 miles outside US.

Transformation to the Kleemann super charger is just amazing. You are going to be very happy. As JamE55 mentioned get the suspension and especially the front BBK. Breaks are going to be very important!

is this something a 'intermediate' person can take on? i was thinking of getting a kleemann super charger for my CLK after i buy a SUV. or just dumping it all together and buying a 94 e500 to tinker with. i dunno.

Take on? You mean installing it yourself? Or driving it? Seeing you have a CLK55 adding a s/c would feel like you've just bought another car but more powerful! Forget the E500. Do the s/c!

Hey Man,

Anything on your Kleemann upgrades????

My car is going into the shop in one week for K Headers, LSD, and ECU upgrades...time can go by fast enough. Supercharger follows in two months.

Let us know how it's going.

Thumbs up PICS Coming Soon

Thanks for the interest, man. I've been speaking with Corey at KLEEMANN almost every day now for the past few weeks. The dude is SO cool, and SO patient with my millions of questions. Who says customer service is dead?!

I have several pics but they are too large to post on this site. I'll be working with Corey (whos is much more technically savvy than me) to see if we can post some pics on this site real soon.

The car is almost done. I saw the initial dynos and basic sinstall pics. I'll wait to post the final pics, but it will be SWEET!

Later!

Wow, I thought it would be done by now. It sure has taken a while for your car to be ready hey? Well, I am sure it will be worth it.

My car is going in today (in about 4 hours) and should be done in a week or less. I will also let you know about the Dyno results and post maybe a sound byte of the headers. I am really excited about the LSD though.

Good luck,

L

Thumbs up

The delay was due to this @^#*ng weather in Northern California!

It had been raining for several weeks straight. Between the bad weather and my hectic schedule at work, I couldn't get a clear schedule for the transport company to take the car to Colorado. Now, KLEEMAN has only had it for a couple of weeks and it is ready to be shipped back next week, after a few tweaks here and ther in the ECU, and some dyno runs.

The weather here is letting up now and I cannot wait to get the BEAST back and put it through its paces! (Not to mention, post some killer pics on this site)

More to come!
