2001 KLEEMANN K55S6
Talking Screamin' KLEEMANN!

Well folks. . . it is about that time! Next week, my 01'CLK55 will be transported from Northern Cali to the hallowed halls of KLEEMANN in Colorado Springs. oorah! I'm finally making the move to "Comfort Power."

Tuners (or should I say Benz Doctors?)Corey and Brandon will be installing a s/c; reprogrammed ECU; headers; and, a limited slip differential which will transform my ride to a literal BEAST! I should be looking at nearly 560hp, not to mention monstrous torque. I'm just glad I recently installed a BREMBO big brake kit on the front and rear so that I can slow the ride down quickly if need be. You simply cannot find that mix of power and luxury these days without spending the price of a house.

We'll be posting before, during and after pics on the site. Needless to say, I will have seriously depleted my funds after this is all over, but, it will be well worth it!

Wish me luck!

Congrats on your wise decision! Been there done that and i'm sure you'll definitely be pleased with the results. Pls post pics as you get your report from Kleemann. They'll be sending you updated pics of your cr while being worked on. Also you should've gotten the Kleemann cams as well and just be done with it. Don't worry about your funds being depleted this upgrade is like buying a brand new car. Again pls keep us posted.

I hate to ask but, how much (roughly)? If it were that reasonable I'd be tempted. 560 h.p. sounds

Are you saying it's around $80k??

You would put down 20% or better on a $400k house right?

Yikes!!

Call this number 719 473 6441. What are you looking to get done besides the s/c or is that it?

Weed up:

"A Kleemann Mercedes costs less than a similar AMG car. The V-6 supercharger and intercooler kit costs $9500, and the V-8 kit sells for $14,350 on a CLK ($400 less on sedans) and takes 10 to 12 hours for installation (figure $1400 at most for labor)".

Wee Todd...!

Great choice. They just pickedup my car today, I am sending it to Kleemann because I recently had problems with bad installation after my supercharger was upgraded to the new style and also my headers! You are going to be extremely happy with the service and the product.

2001 KLEEMANN K55S6
Thumbs up

Thanks to all of you for your support. You are right, I CANNOT WAIT!

For those of you who need KLEEMANN info/details/pricing, etc. please call Brandon or Corey @ 719 473 6441. They are the experts and really know their stuff.

As for the pricing...........it depends on what you want installed. But, it is not like a downpayment on a $400K home.

Talk to you guys (and gals) soon!

Super charger and Shocks and springs... Thats about it, Do I need a limited slip with the traction control? I'd like to find a nice rear window spoiler... Other than that I'm pretty happy with the looks of the car. I'm going to buy a 5yr/50k mile Extended Service policy from my local dealer. The claim the super charger won't void the policy. Also are the Kleemann SC's CARB approved?

I would highly recommend getting the Kleemann LSD as well. Not sure if you've driven a Kleemann s/c car but traction is a big issue. I remember having to struggle launching the car without it and it was not good. Since i got the LSD it helped a lot but still now and then it still is . For a window spoiler you can probably check out Lorinser. Shocks and springs get kleemann as well if your budget allows. If not Bilstein and H&R with #1 pads all around. Yes Kleemann s/c are CARB approved. What kind of stopping brakes do you have? Stock? If stock you might want to think about getting a set of Brembo BBK's for the fronts. Your stock brake won't last very long with the amount of power you're getting. Pls keep us posted. Can you post pics of your car.

TIA

It's still 100% stock, I'm recovering from the purchase and I need to sell my STi before I do any mods.

Very nice. I'll tell you this though. Once you get the s/c you'll feel like you've purchased another CLK but with a lot more juice!

lol Honestly do your homework first before you go into something like this. There have been many threads regarding that setup. Check the C32 section.
