I seriously doubt MB would make something so ugly and japanese. Plus, look at the grill, it has 4 louvers whereas the new style has 3 louvers. I don't think they would go back to 4. By giving it 4, it makes me think these pictures were photoshopped about at least a year ago. And plus, this car sucks. They can't do this to the CLK.

The W208 CLK was great. The W209 got more feminine and ugly and this is even worse. They're dragging the CLK down with every new style. I'll be buying a W208 when I graduate college. Saves me money that they made the newer styles uglier than the old.

I agree, HC. I actually got used to the W209, but still prefer the W208.

I think W208's rear after the rear windows looks much better than W209 but interior of W209 (2005+) is far nicer looking than W208. I just dont like how the back side windows looks :-(

W209 looks best and better than the 208 when all windows are down highlighting the pillarless design of the car...otherwise I agree the 208 looks better from that angle.

If I ever get rid of my CLK for a CLS the pillarless look is what I would miss the most. There is nothing better driving around with all four windows down in the summer. Last summer I went to Watch Hill, RI for the day. I had all four windows down....I could hear people walking on the sidewalk say...."look at that Mercedes...it doesn't have any windows!"
Nothing gets attention like that! I would really miss that!

I've hear a lot of people argue which one is better looking but I've never heard somebody say the W208 is more curvy then a W209. Are you sure you don't have them backwards in your head?

How is this:

Less curvy than:

Agreed. It should look like a short version of the CL .... which is what the CLK name stands for.

The magazine is full of it.

Take a look at the car from a front angle. Don't tell me the 208 looks less curvy than a 209. The 209 is definately more chiseled than a 208. Also, we have the pillarless windows
