clk 430 or clk55 amg

clk 430 or clk55 amg
new to this board was seriously looking to buy a 430 but 55's have peaked my interest what's the big difference between the two? prolly supercharge either one I bought I own a serious modded 951 so I know mods aren't cheap TIA for any info

can't put the 2 cars in the same sentence as far as performance is concerned.

No replacement for displacement is the least of the differences between the two engines - get 55.

However, also keep in mind that you are in the CLK55 forum. I bet most 55 owners would recommend their car over the 430.

If you are going for the power, why not get the CLK55? IMO the price difference is pretty small.
But, if you just want a nice 8-cyl mercedes coupe then get the one in the best shape (be it a 430 or 55), or even the 209?

03 SL 500 Launch Edition, 98 ML 320 (sold), 01 S 500 (sold), 03 CLK 55 (sold)
Handling, performance, engine, speed, look, and just the overall class is much higher in the 55 than the 430. Especially if you want to mod it, you might as well just get the 55. BMW aint got **** on Benz, M is 1/3 of AMG.
