2005 CLK 55 AMG with headers and cats removed. She well looked after with only one scratch on the bottom of front bumper (right hand side), otherwise clean !
Play with her on the weekend :-)
Glad to join the AMG club, whata joy it is riding with that big V8 under the bonnet, sheer bliss everytime i take her out

Curious to know, when did MB switch over from single-sided Dual Exhaust to double-sided Quad type on the W209 CLK55?
Wish I could find something as well preserved to replace my CLK55.

Hello. Just picked up this 2002 CLK55. 1 owner and 52000 miles. Enjoying it so far. Definitely feels faster than I was expecting based on the HP numbers.

Looks awesome, I would love to see how they routed that exhaust
I'd been following this on eBay for a bit, it was about an hour south of me, so I made the mistake of driving it. Mistake in that once I drove it well, you can fill in the rest. The day I went though there was another guy there, looking at the same car, and he was a past customer of the small dealer and buddies. I drove it then bowed out, not thinking I'd get the car. The dealer emailed me the following morning, apparently the buyer had to sell a Porsche first but had some kind of hangup with the sale so I could have it if I wanted. It's a 2004 with 49k miles, two California owners and it's flawless. The dealer (who's been in the business 50 years and I highly recommend him if you're in the LA area) bought it for himself and then came down with MS. So much smooth power and handles better than my 89 Porsche Carrera. Plus I believe they are on the verge of serious collectability.

Thanks guys. The more I drive it and learn about it these are just plain amazing cars and amazed they are under appreciated. On past cars I've done some mild mods but on this one I'm somewhat flummoxed as there is so little to do. Thinking of powder coating the wheels a darker graphite for a more aggressive look to match the cars incredible performance, and maybe a carbon front splitter.
Hi, I know this post was awhile ago but I just bought an awesome 2004 CLK55AMG and was interested in adding a front splitter/air dam. Where did you get yours? Thanks!
