...........congrats! Very interested in your airbox and intakes. Are those stock? You have a 2001CLK55, so how did you get the W211 intakes and air box. Are they swappable from the W211? Thanks.

Sorry for not replying earlier guys but I was actually working all day today. The downside of having your own business I guess.
Anyway, the install was done by KTR out of Ayer, MA. Although at a glance the set up is and looks tight, it did not come without lots of set backs and slip ups. I just think that despite their expertise, they had never dabbled in this sort of thing (my car type) before so it took them some time.
The S/C was used and everything else that was needed was supplied by Cory at Kleemann USA (thank you). So, if you have any questions regarding the set-up you should ask him as I did nothing at all but drop the car off and pick it up. The airbox does fit but it needs a little customizing. IMO all installs end up looking and sizing up slightly different than the last so its really a luck of the draw. I have already heard from one person on this forum that has a similar setup but could get the airbox to fit. The airbox is the same airbox used but the E55 btw and as you can see I opted to leave the MB emblem on as opposed to putting the Kleemann emblem in its place, reason being is because I think the engine is still more MB than Kleemann anyway.
The power is insane, specially when you take it on the highway and floor it, it feels like the front wants to lift. Still, and this is perhaps as important, under normal driving conditions there if very little change, if any!
I need to redo the Dynos because there were lots of variables were just not right until now.
As for the upgrade in brakes, I think I really don't need it. Everything the experts have said points to our breaks being more than adequate for everything except the track.
Ted, I will take the cover off tomorrow and snap a picture so you can see what's underneath. It's all there. BTW, can some tell me the truth about changing/"upgrading" MAF and fuel filters. If so, what is recommended. I have heard from the dealer as well as from Kleemann that Green and K&N both use oils in their filters and that it can lead to sensor problems down the road. Can anyone elaborate on this please?
More to come.

im glad you finally got it installed. it made a huge difference for me when it was on my SL500 so i can only imagine what its like on your CLK55. I noticed the kleemann badge on the back...at least your fellow bostonians will know what theyre up against before they mess with you.

Very nice ride, I love the 208 55's.
You say the SC was used? Did you get a better deal on it that way? I liek your touch with the E55 airbox, I think using the E55 airbox makes the engine compartment look great!!

Thanks. PRSMITH777 actual was the person who sold it to me for a price of course cheaper than new. This thing is bullet proof so I don't see any problem if you can find it used. You will still need to shell out extra cash for all the part that are needed for the new install, but that is no huge cost.

Sweet!
It's August too, so it's time for that Boston drive!![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Let's make it happen! Before Fall (lots of work) comes!
Did you take the pictures at Louis (sp?!) Boston?
The car looks nicely lowered. I think I'm gonna have my mechanic install the same spring pads you have. Probably not going for the spring though. I wanna save up for a set of wheels - looks so much better with 18s...

Now we MUST meet up my friend.
I'm in the Lexington area alot on weekends. I think it will be really interesting to see the different setups running together.
I don't know about you.....but I'm already almost down one set of conti tires within a week or so.
