W209 - the only red color
is the Firemist Red (basically a dark burgundy metallic)
I suppose that Magma Red wasn't a high demand color on the W208 series, so it was deleted.
I think the only models its offered on is the SLK, (optional) on the C230 coupe and available on the SL.
Its too bad, I've had lots of compliments on having a Magma Red CLK, since most 'Benzes seen around are silver or some version of black - even the folks in the MBCA chapter I belong to notice the red and like it.
(what is unusual is that those greens are still offered - I seldom see those, I've seen more Quartz Blue CLK's than the green.)

2004 Maserati Coupe
Thanks
Thanks Hal. I think the magma red looks great too. I have it on my 2002 CLK 430, and have had comments from lots of people, men and women. One dude actually tried to pace me for 5 miles giving me the thumbs up everytime he caught up. Considering the drivers I'm used, this warmed my heart. I was hoping to repeat on my AMG. I do not really like the firemist, a little too bland for my taste. Silver and black look very nice, so I may go in that direction....
