Wow cars must be really expensive in Cali. KBB value for an Excellent CLK with 47,000 on it in Atlanta is $33,000.

an 03 with mint new 18s and tuned suspension etc didn't even fetch 35k. you'd do well to get 27k. just calling it as see it.

Mercedes Benz
those wheels are not worth 8k. I dont care if they are gold plated. OEM looks better.

Wheels maybe add 500 bucks to the cars value if people want them. So take the 27k its worth and maybe stretch to 28k.

Thats what its worth.

Its a 2002 car. I see W209's sell for mid 30's all day long.

Ok lets do some math

The wheels were $1100 each = $4400
The Tires were $325 each = $1300
$5700 + tax = $6141.75.... So I was off by $1900 sorry! We'll chalk it up to dealer markup...

2002 CLK55
Whitepony: I am selling a 2002 CLK 55 as well in the Bay Area and I can tell you that you will have to come under 30K to sell it 27-28K is much more reasonable. I know the Blue Book is higher but the MB prices for resale has been very poor (way under blue book). The dealers are offering about 23K on trade in and 19-20K on a resale directly back to them with no purchase.
You are entitled to sell it for whatever you want but this is just my .02.

Btw: $325 for Nitto's, that's a rip off. I posted mine 6 days ago and have had 2 offers with roughly the price I mentioned above. Good luck in selling.

May I ask who offered you $28,500? That's actually a very good price and much more than what one would fetch in an auction from which the dealer would buy.
I am not happy about it either since the car stickered for over 70K just 4 years ago but like you said **** happens!

OK lets do the math

You get a car and 2 grand, and somehow you won't have a payment?

Hmm... An AMG CLK for 28 grand?
wow....
I'd almost trade the other way around....but then the CLK
and the C Coupe aren't that much different from the drivers seat as far as size etc...well that and a 350hp V8.

dude I don't have some hard on for power the 201 hp is fine with me.

I didn't get a car and 2grand I got the C230 for 28K and I was 5500 upsidedown in the CLK so out the door I paid 33500... I was in that math class!
