thanks! I shall take some side profile shots and post em tomorrow. Any suggestions on the shake at 80???? Its really minimal really but its there........ Could it be the balancing? It was more than what it is now and I had to turn back and go back to the shop and they rebalanced all four all over again. It surely did reduce the shiver by 90% but that 10% is still there. Any suggestions?????????????????????????

The shake should be wheel balance. Take it back to the shop that put the tires on and tell them you feel vibration adnd they should rebalance for free. OR take it to a place that has a high speed wheel balancer that applies road force when balancing the tire

I was lookin at the pics and noticed that your spokes twist toward sthe front of the car. Did you do this on purpose? I think it would look better with the spokes twisted towards the rear. Like this: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/attachm...7&d=1166396010

Nice wheels

I got my wheels and rubber and as soon as I could get em on. I think they look stunning and the drive is fine too. Just a very very slight viberation at 80 mph and it goes away at 85. I need to fix it as soon as I can and need advice on it. Posting my pics ,please let me know if you like my way..........
Nice wheels. Looking good on the car.

How much do they weigh. Please post their weights with tires on. I was using Carlssons 18", and they were heavy as an anchor. Now that they are off for winter, car feels very light and very fast.

I do not have a good experience with aftermarket rims that are heavy and use hubcentric rings or spacers. I can totally relate to the 5-10% residual vibration that you are talking about. Even after wheel balancing, as well as extreme care in installing the spacers, I couldn't totally shake off the vibration. It became more noticeable on highway lanes frequented by heavy vehicles. I understand that lower profile tires deliver more feedback to the steering wheel, but this minute vibration is still unacceptable for the amount of money paid for these wheels.

Best of luck with solving out this problem, and I'll look forward to your progress.

Regards,

Zee

Can a person use a spacer instead of the supplied hubcentric rings? Or what is the best kind of hubcentric ring to use?

Make sure they swap tires too because if they dont your tires will be pointing in the wrong direction and your vibration will be alot worse and accompanied by alot of road noise. Cant wait to see how they look! This is my friends car

Im like that. Will post some pics of the back wheels day after tomorrow. My fronts are on their way. No question they are a show stopper.
You have to tell them to make the rims hubcentric, but one would think they should come out and just offer it that way. Even with the extra cost to some it would be worth it.

hello, thanks for liking my choice . They weigh 28 lbs each and front and back somehow weigh the same and yes, thats without the rubber just the rims alone. I know what you mean I had Brabus monoblock V before these and let me tell you now the car is actually faster cause these feel so light eventhough I went from 18s to 19s and its suppose to weight more and go slower but Im in heaven. I love these wheels. One more thing , Goodyear Eagle F1 is an excelent high traction tire with low road rumble. I ran P zeros and I have run Michi Pilots and Conties but these F1s are just as good. Please let me know if you have any questions...............

I had I-forged wheels when I forged first came out. They are the worst wheels ever. Buy the HRE, why buy a imitation for almost the same money. When I Got Mine, The dumbasses gave me the wrong offset, I had a w211 with 11.5 inch rears, they stuck out like crazy. Do yourslef a favor, hope to god someone will buy those from you, and then do what you should have done in the first place, buy some HRE's, and while your at it, smack yourself for being so stupid

Good Luck

I'm currently running 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear without rubbing on H&R cup kit but only running 265's in the rear. The DPE's will be 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rear. Not sure yet if I'm going with 265's or 275's out back.
