With the Cayman's lightweight and small size, and with 700 HP, God knows what it'll actually be able to do!!
It'll make the new 997TT seem quite slow by comparison!!

One with 4 wheels
I'm not too certain about that. I'm sure if RUF produced another 911 monster based on a 997 GT3 RS, we'd see something just as devastating. The RUF R Turbo is sweet, but probably too heavy for good comparison purposes.
For this Cayman, I just hope all that power is actually usable. People seem to ignore that the Elise or Exige doesn't have gobs of power, but is still easily in league with cars that have triple the power.

It’s hard to change one’s belief that the 40 year old iconic 911 could be challenged by a mid-engined car even from Porsche. If all things were equal like powerplants and suspension, the only reason to pick the 911 over the Cayman would be having the seats in the back needed for a family hauler.
A spin around the block in a 700hp P-car would be a lots of fun!
