Looking towards a brake job soon
Is there another body style, I can search under that uses the same parts?
It's also a good time to flush the fluid, unless you’re already on a annual or biannual schedule.
Why?
- Turned rotors warp much faster than new rotors.
- If you look at the cost of turning rotors, and compare that to the cost of new rotors, new rotors are dirt cheap. I can afford dirt.

- After turning the rotors, they should be mic'd again. Many times they're right at the limit, which means they've got a good chance of being warped in no time.
- Turned rotors run hotter than new rotors. Hot rotors can cook the pads. Cooking the pads can melt the glue that holds the friction material to the backing plate. Once that glue melts, the pads are toast. Then a brake job is needed - again.
