Please LOOK- Carbon Fiber (stock 55) Air box

I'm looking to buy a set of carbon fiber airboxes that will replace the top of my stock air boxes.
I figure some of you guys with the new VRUS air boxes might want to get some money back from your previous investment, if of course you had them carbon fibered.

Please PM me an offer and I will get back to you as soon as I receive it.

Also, for those of you who dont want to sell your boxes, and are very happy with the craftsmonship, can you please suggest me where to send them to have mine done.

Thank you all for any help with this project.

How's HPS working out for you? Is it making a good power and do you have any proofs of that?

Its working like a charm.
My best 1/4 mile time is 13.3 on steet tires in full trim.
I bought a set of BFG drag radials and have not yet run the 1/4 with them on. I needed these because the car has alot of torque and I'm having a hard time hooking.

thanks for asking

What altitude is your track? My bone stock CLK55 ran a 13.3 @ 109.00 at SGMP. You should be in the upper mid 12s at least.

Chappy it sounds like he has an E430 or something I'd assume. Edison NJ is near English Town which is at sea level.

Then that's pretty good for a S/C SL500.

thanks guys. It was my first ever visit to the track. I'm hoping with a little more experience and some sticky tires I will improve the time.

But still, I'm very happy that my 3800lb Benz pulled that kind of number.

BTW, mertd93 was inquiring for your stock 55 cams so that we can put them on my car.

Did you happen to get them back yet? And did you happen to find out if they will fit my application?

Thanks

My bad....I assumed you had an '02 CLK55 since this thread was posted here. Have you had your car dynoed?
